Privacy & Data Handling

Last updated: May 22, 2026

The AI Experts directory (dallasaicompany.com/aiexperts) is operated by Dallas AI Company. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and what your choices are. It is intended to be straightforward — not legalese.

1. What we collect

When you use the directory, we may collect:

  • Visitor search queries. The free-text problem description you type into the search box is sent to our matching service and to OpenAI to generate an embedding. We do not associate queries with your identity.
  • Contact-form inquiries. When you message an expert, we collect the name, email, optional phone number, budget range, project type, and message body you submit.
  • Expert profiles. If you list yourself as an expert, we collect the profile information you choose to publish (name, headline, bio, links, rates, tools, areas of focus, contact email). Your contact email is never displayed publicly — it is used only to forward inquiries to you.
  • Authentication. If you sign in, we receive the email address you used and a Supabase-issued session token. We do not store passwords (sign-in is magic-link only).
  • Basic technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) maintained by our hosting providers for abuse prevention and uptime monitoring.

2. How contact-form messages are handled

When you submit the contact form for an expert, three things happen:

  1. Your message is delivered to the expert by email so they can reply to you directly.
  2. A copy is sent to Dallas AI Company as the directory operator. This allows us to investigate delivery failures, address abuse or spam, and improve the directory. We do not market to senders or share inquiries with anyone other than the listed expert and our email provider.
  3. The message is stored in our database for the purposes above.

3. Service providers we use

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and serverless functions.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and static hosting.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for contact-form messages and magic links.
  • OpenAI — embedding generation for semantic search (search text only — no personal data is sent).

Each of these processors handles your data according to their own privacy and security commitments.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use a Supabase session cookie when you sign in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the directory.

5. Your choices

  • Experts: you can edit or unpublish your profile at any time from your account page. Email jason@viral3dllc.com to request full deletion of your profile and any associated inquiries.
  • Visitors: to request a copy of, or deletion of, messages you've sent through the directory, email jason@viral3dllc.com with the email address and approximate date(s) of the message(s).
  • If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data-subject rights (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), the rights above apply.

6. Retention

Contact-form messages are retained indefinitely for abuse-prevention and delivery-troubleshooting purposes unless you request deletion. Expert profiles are retained for as long as the listing is active plus a short grace period after deactivation.
